Workshops in the Athabasca Grown series are part of the Government of Alberta-funded 2024-25 project by the Town of Athabasca that considering the feasibility of passive solar greenhouses to strengthen local food systems, enhance fresh food availability and create agricultural economic opportunities in Athabasca and across Northern Alberta. These events offer capacity-building, knowledge sharing and network building opportunities on the path to a more robust local food economy.
