Organizer of 2023 WOWPS Prelims
The Womxn of the World Poetry Slam (WOWPS) is a slam for women and femme poets. The WOWPS community was uniquely designed to honor and celebrate the stories of women and femmes in a world that readily attempts to silence and oppress them. It is a space where we are centered, safe, and encouraged.The Womxn of the World Poetry Slam (WOWPS) is curated and hosted by the Black Arts District in Baltimore Maryland. The Black Arts District is Baltimore's western most arts and entertainment district, running along the Pennsylvania Avenue business corridor. The Black Arts Distict works to empower Black creatives and stregnthen the over arts and cultural ecosystem in Baltimore City.
