Working Woods Field Day 2025

Our annual Working Woods open-house is FREE and for EVERYONE! Our day will feature:

• Guided tours through the woods of management demonstrations at 9am & 1pm

• Take home materials

• Opportunities to talk with regional natural resource professionals including representatives from ODNR, consulting foresters at Holden Forests & Gardens, and more!

Guided tours through the woods will focus on:

• 6-year-old timber harvest site
• Edge feathering
• Wildlife habitat improvements
• American Chestnut plantings
• Forest Farming
• Forest pests & pathogens
• Invasive plant management
• Timber stand improvement
