Polly Hemstock, CSW, possesses a profound passion for the intricate world of fine food and wine. Her background as a trained chef spans various cuisines, particularly French, Italian, and New American, with a specialization in seafood that showcases her mastery over fresh ingredients. Having managed and operated several fine dining establishments in Provincetown, MA—where the seafood couldn't be fresher—Polly has cultivated a discerning palate and a keen understanding of how to harmonize food and wine.
Later in her career, Polly transitioned to the wine industry as a sales representative for Classic Wines, a respected wine distributor in Massachusetts. In this role, she leveraged her culinary expertise to assist restaurant clients in selecting wines that perfectly complemented their menus, enhancing the overall dining experience. Polly's ability to pair wines with food has become a hallmark of her approach, making her recommendations invaluable to restaurateurs and diners alike.
Currently, as a travel advisor, Polly explores exotic destinations worldwide, further enriching her appreciation for diverse cultures and cuisines. These global experiences not only enhance her culinary repertoire but also inspire her to create unique and memorable dining experiences for family and friends, all centered around the perfect marriage of food and wine.
