About this event
Wild Pages: A Monthly Journaling Circle in Nature
Join us from May through September for Wild Pages, a monthly nature-based journaling gathering where we slow down, listen in, and write with the wild. Each session invites you into a gentle theme inspired by nature and the seasons, creating space for reflection, creativity, and connection — to nature, self, and each other. Bring your journal, a comfy outfit, and a curious heart.
No writing experience necessary. Just come as you are.
May 7 – “Spring & New Beginnings”
As the earth wakes up, so can we. This session celebrates fresh starts, small sprouts, and the beauty of beginning again. We’ll tune into the energy of spring and explore what’s blooming—inside and out.
June 4 – “The Web We Weave: Reciprocity & Connection”
This month, we reflect on the threads that tie us to each other and the land. How do we give and receive? How does nature model community? We’ll explore reciprocity, kinship, and how nature can help soften loneliness.
July 9 – “Reflections in the Wild: Seeing Ourselves Through Nature”
From still ponds to open skies, nature has a way of mirroring us back to ourselves. In this session, we’ll use the natural world to reflect on identity, presence, and self-discovery.
August 6 – “The Swamp Self: Embracing the Messy Middle”
It’s hot, it’s sticky, and life might feel a little swampy. This gathering invites you to embrace the mess—the sweat, the overwhelm, the imperfect beauty of late summer. Come as your tired, tangled self. All of you is welcome here.
September 3 – “The Seasoned Self: Lessons from the Land”
As the air begins to shift, we turn to nature as mentor. What have the seasons taught us? What wisdom does the land carry? We’ll close our series by honoring the cycles we've moved through—together and within.
We'll be meeting at a park with a gazebo to sit under, so the events will happen rain or shine. There are picnic tables to sit and write on, benches under trees, and a field you can sit in on the grass or a blanket. Bring what helps you feel comfortable while you journal, whether you choose to journal by writing, doing art, or creating a video or audio entry. More information on what to bring and how to prepare will be sent upon registration.
By signing up, you acknowledge that you accept all potential risk and liability for yourself and anyone in your party. Read more here.

Note: There is an entry fee for the park ($2-4/person) that is not covered in registration.
