ESG Access at Our Community Bikes is a space created by and for people who have historically been excluded from DIY and bike culture on the basis of their gender. This includes people who identify as women, two-spirit, agender, transgender, transsexual, transmasculine, intersex, non-binary, and more.

WHEELS 101: HOW TO FIX A FLAT

It's hands-on demo time! 🥳 Bring that flat you've been meaning to teach yourself how to fix, or practice with one of our spare wheels. This workshop will cover:

  • diagnosing a flat
  • necessary tools
  • proper removal and realignment of wheels
  • understanding bike pumps and tire pressure
  • patching and inflating tubes
  • tire seating tech, tips, and tricks
  • best practices for maintaining tire health
