This FoodWorks program includes both academic classroom work along with hands on food preparation experience in the Maryland Food Bank’s state-of-the-art Bauer Community Kitchen in Baltimore. Learn an array of cooking techniques, knife cuts, recipe conversions, commercial equipment use, and food safety and sanitation standards. Emphasis is also placed on culinary communication and job readiness skills.
**Maryland residents only except PG & Montgomery Counties.**

• Classes offer at Maryland Food Bank.
• Graduates will receive a certificate once completed, "CCBC Basic Culinary Continuing Education Certificate"

-Live via Zoom
-Zoom link will be provided within the 24 hours of the info session.
Our Next Class Session will begin on
• July 7 for 12 weeks and will be held at MFB.
• Classes hours (Hybrid format): Monday through Friday
-Monday and Tuesday are online from 9:00 am-4:00 pm
-Wednesday/Thursday/Friday are in person from 8:00 am-4:00 pm
