Get ready to roll up your sleeves and learn how to grow your own food while beautifying urban spaces! Join us for a hands-on Urban Gardening Workshop in collaboration with Wild Notion Farms at the BSPCAC.
What to Expect:
- Free Gardening Kits: Each household will receive a gardening kit, which includes:
- 5 gallons of compost (in food-safe 5-gallon buckets for easy transport)
- A selection of plant starts (choose from herbs, lettuce, tomatoes, or peppers)
- Introduction to Gardening: A 15-20 minute workshop covering the basics of gardening, including how to transplant seedlings, tips on nurturing plants, and a Q&A session.
- Hands-On Experience: Get your hands dirty and create your own garden to take home!
