Students accepted into the program enroll in a two-semester Evaluation Lab course sequence that emphasizes collaborative and culturally competent problem-solving, robust data analysis, and creative ways of communicating technical information, applied to a community organization’s evaluation project.
What you can get out of it?
- The course is cross-listed to allow you to obtain credit towards your degree
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing an evaluation project for a New Mexico non-profit
- Marketable and valuable evaluation skills to list on your resume
- A $500 stipend in each semester ($1000 in total)
- Work under the mentorship of trained evaluators at UNM
