'Til Now - Works in Process

Choreographer Sarah Yasmine Marazzi-Sassoon and dancers Nadia Benes, Lucia Betulu, Sophie Herron, and Samantha Sacks invite you to take an early peek at the work they have been developing together, accompanied by original music by cellist and composer Daniel A. Weitz. Before the stage, the lights, and the costumes, dance starts as bodies in a studio. 'Til Now takes apart the movement and themes of Sarah's past work and focuses on the craft of making dance by honing the connective tissue and re-stitching each step together to create a stronger, subtler, and more intentional whole with an innate logic. This is a first look at our process, the choreographic language we are developing, and the collaborators we are working with, from musicians to visual artists. Come join us for an intimate showing, and hang out with the artists after!
