Hello! My name is Valeria Castellanos and I am very excited to share my story. I was born in Valera, a small andean city in Venezuela, on October 22, 2004. As I grew up, I couldn't imagine my life without art; my whole life revolved around it. I discovered my love for painting, dancing, and acting. However, it was during my school years that I revealed my hidden talent for singing. The genuine support of my music teacher and my parents led me to sing in public for the first time at my primary school graduation. There, I managed to move the audience so much that a passion was immediately ignited within me, and I realized that my purpose in life was to share my gift with the world, even at a young age.
At the age of 11, my family and I moved from my hometown to Boconó, also known as the "Garden of Venezuela," due to the insecurity in the cities of my country. It was there that I took my first significant steps in music, receiving guitar and singing lessons at the Bernard Sohenne School. Surrounded by mentors who embraced music as a way of life, I found my voice. I performed in local churches, where I was able to perfect my craft and connect deeply with the audience. Each performance brought me closer to my dream of dedicating myself fully to music and sharing my passion.
In 2021, I traveled to the United States of America with my family to pursue a brighter future. With the goal of completing a solid high school education and working on my music and composition skills, I seized every opportunity to participate in events that have propelled my professional and personal growth. My dedication and hard work paid off, leading me to be accepted into several art universities, but during that process, I realized I needed to find my essence as an artist. It was during this time, when I was desperate to find the best path to start my music career, that I met my producer Berni Arzola, also known as Berni Studios. It was with him that I found the courage to share my deeply personal lyrics that had been confined in my notes for so long and that only the walls of my room had heard.
Currently, I moved to Miami alone to continue working on my life's vocation and build my future with every step I achieve. I have five promotional tracks, and I know they are just the beginning to achieve my sole objective: for my music to serve as a conduit of healing and inspiration, so that people can truly identify with it and find refuge, just as I do. Today, I remain committed to my art, always seeking to touch hearts and transform lives through my melodies and lyrics.
