Alexandra Wingo offers a pay what you can one day workshop, The Bard For Beginners at The Actors Center of Asheville's 821 Lamplight Avl's June Residency. Lamplight AVL is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focusing on the arts based in Asheville, NC. They support artists by providing space, time, and resources for the creation of innovative art that they share with the community. Founded by Adam and Taca family member Emily McDaniel, Lamplight AVL builds on our region’s rich legacy of supporting inventive, original art that bends genres, pushes boundaries, and moves the cultural conversation forward.

We are thrilled to spend the month here and hope you will join us for this fun and resourcful workshop on how to make the Shakespeare language more digestable to language of modern times. We decided to make it Pay What you Can with a suggested donation of $15. Come hang and learn a little something too!
