Teens, Tech, and the "Adolescence Effect"
With Kaamna Bhojwani, Tech and Relationship Expert
The Netflix series Adolescence sparked deep concern among parents, educators, and policymakers eager to shield children from the harmful effects of social media. But is technology itself the root cause — or merely a symptom of deeper societal issues?
Join us for a fireside chat with Kaamna Bhojwani, UHS parent and certified sexologist investigating how technology is changing human relationships. Kaamna will cover the relational tech landscape, from dating apps to AI companions and beyond, and what we know about pro and anti-social use in adults and teenagers. Finally, she will lead us in a discussion around how we as parents and educators can keep up with the rapid rate of innovation while building open and supportive environments for our children.
