With Chicago Books to Women in Prison, Midwest Books to Prisoners, and Restore Justice, we will host an event on Thursday, May 29th at 6:30pm to learn more about programs that bring books to incarcerated folks & how to fight mail bans and book ban legislature.

This event will include a presentation regarding what each org does and what books are accepted and restricted. There will also be information regarding mail ban legislature proposed by the Illinois Department of Corrections and how to fight these bans, along with time to take action as a group.
