For 5 years, Portlanders have come together through PDX Death Café to break the cultural taboo against talking about death. But some topics, like suicide, may feel off limits.
Join the Death Talk Project and the Mental Health Action Group of First Unitarian of Portland for a presentation by Ryan Price, M.P.A., Oregon Area Director, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Joan Schweizer Hoff, MA, Coordinator of Program Projects and Training, The Dougy Center for Grieving Children & Families.
Doors open 8:30am. Coffee and tea provided (donations appreciated to offset event costs).
