Summer Writing Webinar Series: Networking For Writers
Networking: it matters. In this 1.5-hour webinar, we'll talk about how to build a network as a writer, ways to promote your work, strategies for building an audience, and thoughts about approaching new contacts. Included in the price of this webinar is (i) an introduction to several online writing groups; (ii) introductions to at least three editors who might be interested in your work; and (iii) feedback on an email of introduction, if you want it.
This is part of a six-part series of online summer writing webinars:
—Grant Writing, Residency Programs, and Other Sources of Funding (6/21)
—How To Market Yourself As A Writer (7/13)
—The Writer's Revision Process: Turning Bullshit into Gold (8/10)
—How To Write Endings That Matter (8/21)
—Networking For Writers (8/28)
**Each of these online webinars will be limited to 20 people, which will create an intimate, small-group feeling. We'll video chat for the whole time, so you can ask questions, share ideas with the rest of the group, and interact with me and your fellow writers. You're also more than welcome to email me with questions before, during, and after the event.**
