About this event

Event lasts 1 hour

This class is entirely on the floor, and uses the framework of Laban Movement Analysis, the Bartenieff Fundamentals and other Somatic Movement Concepts. We use both sequenced and exploratory movement exercises and combinations that provide students with an opportunity to investigate bodily awareness and our relationship with the floor, learn functional movement patterns and gain a deeper mind-body connection.
