Sketchbook Sessions: Observational Drawing

Sketchbook Sessions at the Botanic Gardens is back! Join us for time spent walking the gardens, peeking the incoming blooms and plants, and learning about how to utilize observational drawing to help you in your sketching.

How to Attend: This event is outdoors and we will meet in front of the entrance to the gardens at 5:30. While Sketchbook Sessions are lightly facilitated, this is also an opportunity for self-guided art making with others, and a chance to meet fellow artists and plant enthusiasts. This is a free session, and RSVPs are used to help us plan and track for attendance. In the event of inclement weather causing a cancellation, we will email attendees and post to social media and the website for notification.

Materials: Please plan to bring a sketchbook and drawing materials of your choosing.
