What is allowed at the Daning Amphitheater?

2 sealed bottles of water permitted per person. Strollers and wagons for small children. Lawn chairs, beach chairs, and bag chairs are allowed. Clear bags, not to exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. Service Animals accompanying persons with disabilities.

Where do we park?

Parking is available at the field beside the Goose Creek Recreation Center. ADA parking is available at the Goose Creek Recreation Center's parking lot. Please use designated crosswalks to get to and from the Amphitheater.

Do we need tickets to get in?

Yes, tickets will be available on Eventbrite.

Can I resell my tickets?

Transfer of tickets is allowed, but this is a free, city-sponsored event, and anyone discovered to be selling tickets will have their tickets canceled. If you find that you are unable to go, you may cancel your tickets or reach out to us to do so, and they will be given to those on the waitlist.

Does the waitlist guarantee a ticket?

Tickets will be released to attendees on the waitlist, when/if they become available.

Is there a charge for attending concerts at the Daning coordinated by the City of Goose Creek?

No, they are free events, but registration is required.

Can I bring my pet?

No, pets are not allowed during events at the Daning Amphitheater, except as aids to persons with disabilities.

Is there food available?

Yes, food vendors are on site an hour before the show begins.

Can I bring my own cooler?

No, coolers are not permitted.

Is alcohol allowed at the Daning Amphitheater?

There are several sites throughout the Amphitheater that will have beer, wine, and mixed beverages available for sale to those over 21 years of age with ID. All vendors will have soda, water, and other beverages available as well.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is prohibited at the Daning Amphitheater.

Can I bring a gas or charcoal grill?

Grills are not allowed.

Can we set up our chairs early?

Chairs are not allowed to be put out at the Amphitheater until gates open for an event. Chairs may be moved and/or blocked for production and concession load in. We are not responsible for chairs that have been moved by members of the public. Roped-off areas will be taken down.

Is there an Uber and Lyft drop-off/pickup area?

Yes, see the Concert Transportation section of the website to locate the designated area.

Lost and Found Information

Any items left behind after an event will be discarded if unclaimed by Monday afternoon at 5 PM (following the event). We are not responsible for anything left at the Amphitheater before, during, or after an event. Please be aware that the Amphitheater is an open park.

What if it rains?

All City-sponsored events are rain-or-shine events, unless inclement weather rolls in. Check the Daning Amphitheater website or social media pages for delays or cancellations.

Does my child need a ticket?

Children ages 2 and under may enter the venue without a ticket. Children older than 2 must have a ticket to enter.

Can I bring an umbrella?

You can bring personal-sized umbrellas, but they must be taken down as soon as the concert begins.

Are tables available to rent, reserve, or purchase at the concert?

No, the tables in the reserved section of the Amphitheater are designated for Sponsors. See our website for sponsorship opportunities.

Located behind City Hall beside the Recreation Complex, the new Joseph S. Daning Amphitheater opened Sept. 6, 2024.
