About Kristen Loree:
Kristen Loree, MFA, Certified Sound Healing Practitioner (Sound Healing Academy '21), Certified Shamanic Healing Practitioner (Foundation for Shamanic Studies '22), works with gongs, drums and Tibetan bowls: therapeutic sound tools that both feed and strengthen the being as a whole, rebalancing body, mind and spirit. Natural waves of unadulterated sound can help us to transcend ordinary mental consciousness, can heighten our perceptions and can help us to experience blissful states of being. Intention, combined with sympathetic resonance, creates therapeutic sounds that inherently go to where they are needed.
About the Exhibition and Richard Levy Gallery:
Richard Levy Gallery presents Stardust Dialogues, a presentation of photographs by Elizabeth Chiles. The exhibition explores concepts of time, perception, and eco-spirituality. Chiles works with vegetation, fabric, shadow, and digital collage techniques to explore the relationship between the tangible and the immaterial. Layers of transparent linen fabric, cutout plant forms, and silhouettes are woven together evoking an ephemeral kaleidoscopic effect. Interested in spiritual ecology and the connection between earth and cosmic forces, Chiles uses flowers from the Asteraceae family—sunflowers, marigolds, and daisies. Throughout Stardust Dialogues, Chiles draws attention to vital and intangible forces–light, time, and energy–found in every aspect of nature.
Richard Levy Galley opened it’s doors in downtown Albuquerque in 1991. The gallery has enriched the cultural lansdcape of Albuqueurque by presenting art exhibitions to the community for almost 34 years.
