About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Now that Python in Excel is heading to general availability, this free one-hour training is designed to help you understand what this exciting integration means and what Python in Excel can do for you. We'll dive into hands-on examples to ensure you can apply what you learn right away.

If you have any questions about the logistics or technical setup for Python in Excel, please consult this Microsoft support page at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/get-started-with-python-in-excel-a33fbcbe-065b-41d3-82cf-23d05397f53d.

Recording & downloads

By attending this free online workshop, you will understand:

  • When to use native Excel features for data analysis and visualization, and when Python is a better fit.
  • How Python can assist in common data preparation and manipulation tasks often done in spreadsheets.
  • The differences between how Python and Excel store and operate on data.

And you'll be able to:

  • Run Python code directly within your Excel workbook.
  • Generate complex data analyses and visualizations with Python that would be difficult or impossible in Excel.
  • Import additional Python modules in your Excel workbook for assistance with a variety of data analytics tasks.

Please refer to Microsoft's official post on Python in Excel here for details on product availability and downloads. Due to the limitations of a free online webinar, I'm unable to offer individual support regarding product licensing and availability.
