About this event

Birth can be like going with the flow of the current…

But only if you know how to ride the wave.

Just like a surfer doesn’t fight the ocean, pregnant moms in delivery shouldn’t have to fight their bodies. Pelvic floor education and push preparation teach you how to breathe, release, and bear down with intention—not fear.

Understanding how your body works during labor, especially how to work with your pelvic floor (not against it), helps reduce tearing, shortens the pushing phase, and can even lower the risk of unnecessary interventions.

Because improving maternal outcomes isn’t just a goal—it’s the standard we should all be striving for.

Want to know what to do when they finally tell you "its time to push"? As a pelvic floor PT and expert, I will ACTUALLY check that you're doing it right. So no more guessing!

You will also learn how to move during delivery, different labor positions, how to breath, and other labor comforts. You'll receive digital birth affirmation cards to share with your support person and most of all, you will feel prepared and ready to give birth!

You'll REGRET missing this small group course!

Frequently asked questions

How many people will be in the class?

No more than four

How will you check that I'm doing it right?

With your permission, and over your clothing I'll be checking that you're doing the movement correctly for the push.

How is this different from other childbirth classes?

Other classes talk about possible interventions. This course will go very the mechanics for delivery, movement you'll do, and the actual pushing with simulated pain. This course will have you PRACTICE so that its muscle memory by the time delivery is here!

Is there free parking?

YES!

What should I wear?

Wear leggings or shorts that will allow you to move well.

What should I bring?

You can bring a bottle of water if you'd like. You will be provided a pen and a workbook to take notes home with you so that you can PRACTICE.

Can my support person come to the group session?

Unfortunately due to wanting to create an open environment for women to share their fears and questions, support person or partners will not be present. Should you want your support person present, you can schedule a 1:1 session.
