Check In/Get Lockers

We will collect waivers for Riversport and PDA. Once checked in, you can get a locker while we wait for everyone to arrive.

12:00 PM - 12:15 PM

Get Bands from Riversport

We will go to the registration desk and get our bands for rafting.

12:15 PM - 1:45 PM

Ropes Course

The ropes course will be our first activity. This will happen in groups of 10-12.

1:45 PM - 3:00 PM

Rafting

We will all get in our rafts. It is typically 2 laps around but last year because it was slow we got 3.

3:00 PM - 3:45 PM

Tubing

We will grab a tube and some new friends and take a ride down the rapids as many times as you want.

3:45 PM - 4:20 PM

Grab food/kayak/SUPs/wrap up(depends on how the day goes)

Depending on how well things work out, we may have time to do the kayaks and SUPS. If so, we will do that. If not, we can grab some food and chat.

4:20 PM - 4:30 PM

Pack up!

We will grab things out of the lockers and head out!

About this event

Oklahoma City is lucky to have a state of the art whitewater rapids experience located here in the city! Not only do we get to experience this but the LA 2028 Olympics will be utilizing their facilities for the canoe slalom! What an accolade!

Our day at Riversport will consist of a couple different things. Our pass will get us 1 rafting experience which is technically 2 times down the rapids (sometimes 3 if it is slow). We will also do some tubing and the ropes course with the possibility of kayaking and some corn hole. There are other things available and depending on interest we can do those as well. You will need to fill out a waiver for both Riversport and PDA. When you pay for your ticket, you will be sent those waivers. It must be returned in order to participate.

Your ticket will get you in to Riversport but you will need to bring money for a locker, food and drinks. Riversport does have a bar and a restaurant.

Things to know about Riversport: you MUST have secure shoes. No slides, flip flops or crocs. Ladies, I would plan to wear sport shorts over your swimsuit for the rafting. You get bounced around alot and swimsuits can shift easily.

Things you might need: sunscreen, secure shoes, money (locker, food/drinks), hat/sunglasses (bring them but you will not wear them while rafting/tubing/ropes course due to wearing a helmet).

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear?

Arrive with your swimsuit under shorts and t shirt/tank top. We will start with the land activities (ropes course). Then we will get to the water activities!

What should I bring?

Sunscreen, towel, hat, sunglasses, money (for locker, food/drink), secure shoes (NO SLIDES, FLIP FLOPS OR CROCS). You might also plan on bring a pair of clothes to change into so you don't have to drive home in wet clothes.

Do I have to do everything?

No! We won't force anyone to do anything they are uncomfortable with but we encourage everyone to get out of their comfort zone! Last year, many people tried the ropes course and stopped when they felt uncomfortable. They considered it a win to just try!

What do I wear for the rafting?

Ladies , based on experience, I would wear some kind of sport shorts over your swimsuit. I have found that when I have not worn shorts, I don't feel as comfortable. The swimsuit gets moved around a lot and you may be bounced around a lot. Guys whatever shorts you have I am sure will be fine.

What does the fee cover?

The cost of getting in: ropes course, rafting, tubing, kayaks, SUP, surfing, skiing, rock climbing and more. As a group, we will do the ropes course, tubing and rafting for sure. Depending on time and the size of group, we will do more. Anyone is free to stay later and do more of the activities.

It's always a good day for some PDA! We offer a variety of events. Some events will be small with activities intentionally curated for singles to have small group conversations with other singles. We also offer large group events for all singles of all ages. These events are focused more on creating a community of singles that is safe, low pressure, laid back and fun.

We will offer some events with a specific age range, while some of our events will be for all ages to attend. We hope to provide out of the box, interesting, different activities and locations! Who wants to do the same ol same?! Not us! We also try to take the work out of it for you to! The ticket cost typically includes your drinks, food, the activity and travel if that is needed. That means all you have to do is show up and have a good time.

The host has a wide variety of experience in leading large groups as well as small groups. This experience allows the host the ease of pivoting when necessary, following the plan but also reading the room and the dynamics of what is taking place among the participants and making changes as needed.
