Paint and Sip Fundraiser

In the last few months it has come to our attention that the leak in our pool has increased significantly. In August 2019, our water bill was $619. In August 2022, our water bill was $1,977. In August 2023, our water bill was $4,727. Although the leak was known about and discussed at the annual meeting, it seems to have worsened at a rapid rate since.

If we continue as is, Parkwood Community Club will simply run out of money, due to the massive water bill. In the recent months, leak detection experts have come out and conducted leak testing, and we have received a quote to fix the leak. Repairs will cost approximately $150,000-$200,000.

We have secured the offer of a $50,000 loan for repair. We have some incredible fundraising activities planned, with the goal of securing an additional $25,000 by the end of 2023. This leaves us in need of approximately $75,000-$125,000.
