Frequently asked questions

What is RESET Breathwork and how can it help with grief?

RESET Breathwork is a conscious-connected breathing pattern done solely through the mouth involving two deep breaths into the belly, the heart, and a passive exhale. This practice supports you processing your emotions deeply from the root and finding clarity and closure.

Physiologically speaking, how can RESET Breathwork facilitate healing in my body?

Powerful use of the diaphragmatic breath activates the parasympathetic nervous system through the Vagus Nerve to deep parts of our subconscious mind and body. The heart is directly influences the nervous system and this breathwork signals messages of love, compassion and grace to the brain.

What would I actually be doing during a RESET Breathwork session?

First I will guide you in an opening meditation. You will be laying down with your eyes closed. Then I will guide you in the RESET Breath for 20 minutes while listening to music. I will guide you in saying aloud affirmations. You will rest for a final song and be guided out with meditation.

What might I experience physically and emotionally during breathwork?

You may experience some cramping in your extremities. Passive exhales will naturally soften the body. You may experience moments of lightheaded and dizziness, feeling hot or cold and a strong emotional release. Let your body do its thing. By the end, you will likely feel freedom, peace and clarity.

Why do I feel like a new person after breathwork?

Neurons that fire together wire together. In our nervous system there are strong pathways connecting to our positive belief system and weak pathways connecting to our negative belief system. Within minutes of breathwork, you can shift from self-judgment to having grace and compassion with yourself.

Is RESET Breathwork is safe for me to do?
