Leading voice against domestic violence Rosie Batty AO will be the special guest at Mallee Accommodation and Support Program’s ‘Lunch For Change’ event in September.
Delivered with major sponsors eManaged and Ray White Mildura, Lunch For Change is a revamp of MASP’s famous Charity Women’s Luncheon - which before the COVID-19 Pandemic was one of the organisation’s major annual fundraisers - now open to all.
This year, against the stunning backdrop of Willow and Ivie, this corporate event will shine the light on Family Violence – giving those in attendance a chance to hear Rosie’s Inspirational story.
When her 11-year-old son Luke tragically lost his life at the hands of his father, Rosie was catapulted into the media spotlight.
But from the very start she made sure her story was never just about her own horrific tragedy.
With fierce determination and incredible courage, Rosie channeled her grief into a tireless and inspirational crusade against domestic violence, becoming a beacon of hope and a powerful catalyst for systemic change.
Joining Rosie as a guest speaker at the Lunch For Change is Mildura’s own Conor Pall.
Himself a victim-survivor of family violence, Conor’s story is one of hope and transformation – reshaping the systems meant to protect and support those experiencing vulnerability.
RSVP by August 21 for this can't-miss event. The price of the ticket also includes a two course meal, with drinks at bar prices.
