Topics include lens selections, camera settings, helpful accessories and making better backgrounds. Besides the technical side…for this presentation, Bear will build, light and shoot a project before the attendees eyes.
Sony Tech Rep. Barrett McGivney’s, love of photography started at the age of 6 with a 110 camera (he is older than he looks or acts) and it has been a journey ever since. He has been a freelance photographer, worked in photo labs, photo stores, product manager for a photographic lighting company, and a regional business manager for a photo/video distributor. He has worked with all brands of cameras and lighting equipment. When he was first introduced to the mirrorless technology, he saw it as the next evolution of photography with unbelievably VAST potential. His advocacy for Mirrorless was solidified when he joined the Sony team in 2016 and has been touting its benefits ever since.
