Learn the Art of Smocking

Curious about smocking? This hands-on class is the perfect introduction to the timeless art of decorative hand stitching. Designed for beginners, the workshop will cover the basics of pleating, embroidery stitches, and the history and applications of smocking in fashion and textiles. While you may not walk away ready to apply smocking to your own projects just yet, you will leave with a solid understanding of what smocking is, how it's done, and whether you'd like to explore it further. All materials provided—just bring your curiosity!
