This program is designed to complement our 3-Day Pain Management Workshop and Advanced Pain Management Workshop.
During the Joint Injection Course, there is a strong focus on non-spinal injections, including knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, and ankle injections, using palpatory methods, anatomical landmarks, and image guidance for needle placement. Additionally, soft tissue injections (trigger points) are taught, emphasizing referred pain and patient testing to create a differential diagnosis of the pain.
Course Modalities
The Joint/Extremity Injection, Pain Management Training Course also covers other common procedures that you can offer in your practice, such as viscosupplementation, steroid injections, and prolotherapy. The course includes Botox injections for conditions like bruxism, migraines, and other spastic muscular issues, as well as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments for soft tissue repair and knee joint applications.

Practical Training and Hands-On Experience
The workshop begins with lectures covering various medical conditions and treatment procedures. You will specifically learn about different pain management injection techniques, protocols, medications, side effects, and patient selection criteria. A comprehensive Q&A session will follow to ensure all topics are covered, including additional ones requested by attendees.
After lunch, you will receive coding and billing instructions necessary for Medicare and other insurance providers. In the afternoon, you will perform injection techniques on custom anatomical models, allowing you to refine your skills under the direct supervision of expert instructors. By the end of the program, you will feel confident in your abilities.
