Introduction to Teaching with Moodle introduces faculty to teaching with Moodle. The 5-module course is self-paced that can be completed on your own time. It covers information about course settings, adding resources, setting up and conducting activities, and user profiles. Participants will learn how to upload files such as syllabi or articles, add discussion forums, accept assignments electronically, send email to a class, give quizzes, and much more.

This course introduces participants to Moodle features through a series of short video tutorials and quizzes based on the content. At the end of the course participants will be able to print a Certification of Completion. A successful completion rate of 80% or higher is required to obtain a Certification of Completion. Participants can expect to spend approximately 5-10 hours completing this self-paced course.
