Join us for a hands-on Introduction to Printmaking workshop, where creativity meets craftsmanship! This beginner-friendly class is designed to give you a solid foundation in the art of printmaking, starting with the basics of stamp design. You’ll learn how to transfer your image onto your carving medium, and gain experience with linoleum carving tools.

We’ll guide you step-by-step through the process, ensuring you’re comfortable using the carving tools, and that you'll bring home skills and stamps you'll love. Whether you’re an aspiring artist or simply looking to explore a new medium, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with printmaking’s unique techniques.

Throughout the session, you’ll have the chance to experiment with your designs, make prints, and take home a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork that you’ve created from start to finish. Our experienced instructor will be there to offer personalized guidance and tips, ensuring you leave the workshop with both newfound skills and the confidence to continue exploring the world of printmaking.

The teacher, Thomas, is looking to host an experience for adults and high school students who are interested in the craft. This will be a relaxing evening of learning for everyone involved!

Where should we park?

There is 24-hour municipal parking across the street from the shop, and 3-hour municipal parking behind the shop. Both a great options, depending on how long you need to park for!

Is the shop wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, wheelchair accessibility is an ongoing goal for the shop. At the moment, all entrances to the shop feature a small (~30cm/12in) step up.
