Come and demystify the information you receive from your soil tests! Have you ever looked at a soil test and not known what to do with the information? Have you ever wondered what the ideal levels are of the different minerals components of your soil? Have you heard about pH and known that it should be in the 6.5 range but didn’t know that there are 4 elements that affect pH, not just calcium? This session is designed to help farmers and gardeners read and make decisions about remineralizing their soils with confidence so bring your own soil test to follow along. Remineralizing our soils is the foundation for good agronomy, soil health, and nutrient dense food. Reading a soil test seems convoluted but it is in fact easy to do and once you are able you will always know exactly what minerals your soils need. This is a truly empowering skill!
