Welcome to Growing with our Grief: A Somatic Approach! Join us for an online event where we will explore how to navigate grief through a somatic lens.
Grief isn’t something to "get over"—it’s something we grow with. This training explores the science of how grief is held in the body, including nervous system responses and somatic memory. Participants will learn body-based tools such as breathwork, movement, and polyvagal-informed techniques to support integration, resilience, and meaningful connection.
Amy Pickett-Williams, LCSW, RYT, is a grief psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and founder of The LIGHT Movement. With over 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families through loss—including the death of a child, infertility, illness, and identity shifts—she bridges psychotherapy and somatic healing. Amy integrates polyvagal theory, yoga, breathwork, and body-based interventions to help people process and integrate grief. She leads trainings, retreats, and workshops on grief, trauma, and mind-body healing.
