About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes
Skwim Toastmasters Club was chartered on June 6, 2006 in the city of Sequim, Washington USA. With the mission to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth (sounds familiar?), we have written an extraordinary success story over these 19 years.
From humble beginnings in Sequim, we have blossomed into a vibrant global community, with members and guests joining us virtually from across the world. Our club members have risen to be a part of the District 32 leadership and have represented Skwim Toastmasters at the World Championship of Public Speaking.
Wondering how a small-town club became a global success? Join us to discover the story of Skwim Toastmasters Club with
- Steve Segle - a founding member who sowed seeds of success.
- Sharon Labreque - will share about the years of growth.
- Kyle Hall - transition to hybrid meeting and reaching the world.
Come, for the learning, stay for the laughter.
The Skwim club holds hybrid meeting. Its lively in-person component meets in Sequim, Washington, in the KSQM office space at 609 W Washington St., Suite 17. Its robust virtual membership attends from all over the world.
