About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

The Central Appalachia Region of the American Red Cross is pleased to present a special presentation by Cody Corliss, WVU College of Law. Professor Corliss will, with an insider's experience, discuss the mechanisms in place, domestic and international, to investigate and prosecute violations of International Humanitarian Law. His experience as a war crimes prosecutor at two international criminal criminals, including the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), will bring insight on the methods and challenges of building a case for prosecution following violations of the law during armed conflicts.
