Do I need any prior experience with Procreate or painting?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed for all skill levels. I’ll guide you step-by-step, so even if you’re brand new to digital art, you’ll have fun and leave with a beautiful piece!

How do I join the virtual event?

Accepted Answer

Once you register, you’ll receive an email with the Zoom link before the event. Simply click the link at the scheduled time to join!

Question 4

Will the session be recorded?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you can’t attend live, a recording will be available for registered attendees for 2 days after the event.

What if I have trouble with Procreate during the session?

Accepted Answer

I’ll be providing step-by-step guidance, but if you need extra help, feel free to ask questions during the workshop. You can also email me beforehand if you’re having any technical difficulties!

Can I use a different drawing app instead of Procreate?

Accepted Answer

This workshop is specifically designed for Procreate on iPad, so I recommend using it for the best experience. However, if you’re comfortable translating the techniques into another app, you’re welcome to try!

Question 7

What if I can’t finish my artwork during the session?

Accepted Answer

No worries! You’ll receive a recording, so you can go at your own pace and finish your piece later.

Question 8

Do I need an Apple Pencil?

Accepted Answer

An Apple Pencil is recommended because it allows the program to determine pressure sensitivity for some of the brushes. A generic stylus will be slightly more challenging to work with, but it won't be impossible. I'll discuss ways to make it work throughout the event.
