The third annual Double Good Days is a free event that provides all-abilities fun for children with special needs, along with their families and caregivers. Created by the Double Good Kids Foundation, the event aims to provide a special day filled with interactive, sensory-friendly activities while fostering meaningful social opportunities for kids.

We’ve teamed up with amazing community partners to create experiences tailored to support a wide range of abilities. Whether your child loves animals, sports, science, or the arts—there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

• GiGi’s Playhouse – Sensory play
• Lincolnway Special Recreation Association – Wheelchair basketball
• Mane in Heaven – Miniature therapy horses
• Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy – Therapy dogs
• Science Olympiad – Hands-on science fun
• Sloomoo Institute – Slime station
• Special Gifts Theatre – Acting, singing, and dancing
• Special Olympics Illinois – Dynamic sports skills stations

Registration Details:
This event is FREE and open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. To help us keep the museum at a comfortable capacity for all, tickets are available in 30-minute arrival windows. Please select the time slot that works best for you.
