Frequently asked questions

1. Who is this class for?

This workshop is designed for beginners, DIYers, and anyone who feels stuck trying to make their room feel right. No experience needed—just a desire to finally fix your space with guidance and clarity.

2. Do I need any design or technical experience?

Nope! This class is built for real people - it is beginner and DIYer friendly —not for professionals. If you've ever said, “I just don’t know what to do with this room,” you're in the right place.

3. What materials will I need?

Once you register, you’ll receive a printable kit that includes: Graph paper, Furniture cutouts, Planning worksheets, A short list of optional tools (ruler, pencil, printed room photos, etc.) You don’t need any fancy software—just basic tools and curiosity.

4. Is this a DIY class or a design consultation?

This is a DIY-style learning session, not a personal consultation. You'll learn strategies designers use—so you can confidently tackle your room planning on your own terms. If you need additional help at the special rate, please choose the Ticket Option that allows for a scheduled Talk.

5. What’s included in the ticket price?

Every ticket level includes access to the live workshop + printable templates. Upgraded ticket levels include planning kits and a 30-minute follow-up consultation with the instructor.

6. What if I can’t attend live?

The class will be recorded and made available for limited single-use replay access to registered participants. Live attendance is encouraged for the best interaction and Q&A experience. Eventbrite may allow you to change your date, or you can email us at hello@scenarch.design to change your date.

7. Can I ask questions during the session?

Yes! There will be time for live Q&A at the end of the session and during a break or two, along with interactive polls throughout the class. Add your questions to the Chat early! Premium ticket holders will have access to a brief 1-on-1 "Talk" follow-up session.

8. Will this help me plan any room—or just bedrooms/living rooms?

This workshop focuses on general space planning and design rules, you can apply the concepts to bedrooms, living rooms, or any general-use space you’re struggling with. Other sessions will be available for (kitchen/bath, specialty, office/hobby) or advanced learning for whole-house application.

9. What if I want to take all of the classes in the series?

This is the first level in a series of classes. You’re welcome to take just this session—or follow the full journey from Basic to Advanced. You’ll hear about other class types, dates, and packaged sessions in the ticket section of this event, during the workshop, and via email.

10. Will I get a certificate or proof of completion?

Both! Whether you own or rent, you'll learn flexible strategies to make the most of your space—without demolition or huge renovations.
