There will be A brief discussion on what civic engagement is and why it is crucial, especially for young voters and community members. Examples of how small actions can lead to significant changes will be shared. Cupcake decorator will provide Step-by-step instructions on how to decorate cupcakes using fondant, icing, and other decorative elements to create the “Power to the People” fist.
Participants will spend time applying their new skills to decorate their own set of cupcakes. While decorating, facilitators will lead a conversation about current events and the importance of being informed and involved.
There will also be a Discussion on how participants can use their voices and talents to promote positive change and engage in community actions.
