About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Inspired by the bold clarity of Henri Matisse and the emotional resonance of Mark Rothko, this workshop invites you to explore the powerful relationship between color and the human figure. Using gouache on paper, we’ll experiment with color blocking and simplified forms to create compositions that are both striking and expressive.

Learn how to simplify the figure into essential shapes, use color with purpose, and create compelling paintings.

No experience necessary—just a willingness to explore. All materials provided.
