About this event

  • Event lasts 7 hours

An interactive, 1-day training that focuses on a research-backed framework for schools and classrooms to equip all staff with easy-to-use tools to support student success starting on day 1!

This training will be led by the Character Strong Training Team.

The training is designed for School and District Leaders, Classroom Teachers, School Counselors, and School Support staff.

The Challenge

Over 80% of educators report the pandemic has increased student social, emotional, and behavioral challenges (National Center for Educational Statistics, 2022), and they have taken on much of the stress of their students’ increased needs (RAND, 2022). Educators need simple strategies to improve student engagement and increase well-being overall.

How Character Strong Can Help

We offer educators low-burden, high-impact strategies to increase well-being, belonging, and engagement in all areas of a classroom and campus community by introducing a consistent structure for learning that promotes powerful relationship-building while also helping students find value in their learning.

Participants of this training will receive a classroom set of "webbing loops" that they can utilize with their students to help with team building, discussions, and creative content processing.

Lunch and snacks will be provided.
