From exposure to experience to next step connections after graduation, OST programs can introduce and prepare youth for careers. This session will explore the continuum of career-connected learning, thinking about how offerings can build pathways and engage middle and/or high school students. Learn tips for setting up seccessful work experiences for youth, including options to help meet State graduation requiremnets through Act 158.


Learning Objectives:

-Learn about the continuum of career-connected learning activities and best practices for using this with middle and high school students.

-Identify opportunities to integrate career connected learning and create pathways for students.

-Understand elements of a successful work experience/internship including tips for employer engagement
