Building Equity in Vermont: A Conversation with Xusana Davis

Join Vermont’s Executive Director of Racial Equity, Xusana Davis, for an inspiring evening of forward-thinking conversation and community learning. Together, we’ll explore how equity is being advanced across the state, gain insights into the work of the Office of Racial Equity (ORE), and discover how we can all contribute to supporting equity in our community.

Xusana will be discussing:

  • Statewide equity initiatives and the work of the ORE
  • Systematic racial disparities and how they are being addressed
  • Practical steps each of us can take to build a more equitable future

Xusana Davis is Vermont's first Executive Director of Racial Equity, working across state agencies to address racial disparities, embed equity in state operations, and advise on inclusive policy. She brings a background in civil rights law, anthropology, and multicultural advocacy.
