If you want to enhance your proficiency in budget development, this is the workshop for you! Led by highly successful grant writers, this workshop covers essential steps in developing a comprehensive grant budget, discusses the budget development process, creating the budget narrative, identifying indirect and direct costs, and cost categories.

Participants will actively engage throughout this interactive training, gain skills and knowledge needed to understand and convey the budget process, and construct competitive and effective grant budgets.

The Mentors Corner is available from 1:00 - 2:30 for any that would like to partake while space and time is available. Volunteer staffed by seasoned grant writers!

First come first serve while time and space allows! Bring a grant you're working on, or discuss those questions you "don't want to ask out loud!"

Who We Are

The Hillsborough Grants Collaborative is an all-volunteer run organization that provides opportunities for grant writers in all types of non-profits and governmental agencies to come together to learn, network and share ideas and insights.

MENTORS have been giving back to the community for over 25 years. The meetings are free and your Executive Committee and Trainers are considered experts in the fields of competitive grants writing and grant management.

Our passion is giving back to the community and we are willing to assist and answer a variety of questions that you may have.

When We Meet:

Quarterly workshops are held from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. A Mentoring Corner is availabe after each workshop from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. There is no fee to attend the quarterly workshops.

Day long conferences are held periodically. There is a nominal charge for our day-long conferences, which we always announce and provide content and registration information via email.
