Beyond the Ask: Unlocking the Hidden Potential of AI for Smarter Fundraising
AI has quickly become a go-to tool for drafting emails, letters, and other donor communications—but its capabilities go far beyond content creation.
This session, led by Brian Marquez-Hall, will explore how development professionals can take their AI knowledge to the next level and use it as a powerful partner in fundraising strategy. Brian currently serves as a Development Officer at Southern Scholarship Foundation and was the recipient of AFP Global's 2025 Outstanding Young Professional Award. His previous roles include serving as a development coordinator at Elder Care Services and a donor stewardship officer at Tallahassee State College.
In 2022, Brian gave a presentation on generative AI and how nonprofits can use it to expand their reach at the UPHS Conference for Nonprofit Management and Leadership. This upcoming session will build on that foundation, offering deeper insights into how AI can support strategic decision-making, donor engagement, and long-term fundraising success.
If you're already comfortable using AI for day-to-day tasks, join us to learn how it can help you make more informed decisions, strengthen donor relationships, and plan for long-term success. We'll cover practical ways AI can assist with data analysis, segmentation, predictive insights, and more—helping you work smarter and focus on what matters most: meaningful donor engagement.
