Learn how to select tools, materials and set up tool pathing for cutting. We will also go over parts of the CNC waterjet control system, settings and their significance in creating a successful outcome. Safety protocols and precautions will also be taught and reinforced.

Ages 12 and up are welcome to attend. Children between the ages of 12 and 17 must have gaurdian on site.

Class refund policy:

- 7 calendar days or more before the class start date: Refunds will be given, minus a 10% service fee (Eventbrite fees non-refundable)

- 6 calendar days to 2 days before class start date: Refunds, minus a 10% service fee, will be issued in the form of a credit voucher to be applied to a future offering within 1-year of the issue date.

- No refunds issued within 48 hours of any class offering.

The Lacey MakerSpace empowers our local community to by providing access to fabrication tools and hands-on learning, allowing makers to design, collaborate, and produce creative projects.

We have a growing collection of 3D printers, laser cutter/engravers, cnc routers, welders, cnc plasma cutter, woodshop, 3D scanners, vacuum formers, embroidery & sewing machines, and much more.

As part of a 501(c)(3) non-profit we are grateful for the support of the community that provides funding and equipment to realize our mission. Our three founding partners are the City of Lacey, the Thurston Economic Development Council, and Saint Martin's University, who combined forces to provide a resource for community members to learn skills and grow businesses.
