Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) have significant long-term negative impacts on a child's physical, mental, and social health, as well as their development and academic achievement. Exposure to ACEs can lead to a range of problems, includingincreased risk of chronic diseases, mental health issues, substance abuse, and behavioral problems.

So what can you do when you find yourself raising a child who has experienced several ACEs? This event is an attempt to provide information and tools to assist our kinship caregivers.
