May you be happy

-Metta Prayer

To honor May’s Mental Health awareness month (and Asian American Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage month), I want to host a hike incorporating slowdowns to connect community. To learn more about The Slowdowns, check it out at https://www.instagram.com/the.slow.downs/

This particular hike is a special one for I have the opportunity to collaborate with Quyen Nguyen, a wellness facilitator and founder of Gentle World Collective https://www.instagram.com/quyen.world/

About the Event:
We will hike for 3.5-4 miles, once we reach the benches/top of the world (depending on availability that day), we will embrace slow-downs with a guided meditation and create our own affirmation cards (embracing Nami’s campaign of “In Every Story, There’s Strength), do a community share (if you feel comfortable), and share our amazing energy to the world.

***Hike trail has some steep rocks, please be advised. Trail will first go down, then go back up***
