Taught by our great friend Kevin Tijerina, this Survival Sewing class is all about learning practical skills that will keep your bags, boots, and jackets looking their best for years to come.
In this interactive session, you’ll learn:
- How to clean and condition leather
- Basic leather stitch repairs to mend small tears and loose seams
- Polishing and finishing techniques for restoring shine and texture
- Creative leather decorating using patches, studs, and embellishments
All materials are provided, including scraps, thread, needles, patches, and studs—just bring a leather item you’d like to work on or customize! This is a perfect opportunity to repair beloved pieces or creatively refresh your wardrobe.
