About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

This class will go into more detail on laboring positions. Physical Therapist, Dr. Laura Romeo, will explain progression of baby’s decent through the pelvis and how you can use positioning to open different levels of the pelvis during each stage of labor. More specifically, she will go over the baby’s station (where they are in the pelvis), a basic anatomy of the pelvis complex and how each joint moves, positions such as standing, sitting, squatting, and partner supported. This class will also touch on options for those that have an epidural with strong leg movement and even for those that have no leg movement and are limited to sidelying and on their back.

Equipment: Please bring your own yoga mat.
